Formed in 1868, St. Paul Lutheran Church is celebrating over 140 years of faithfully proclaiming God’s Word. The original church building, located just south of downtown, became too small for the growing congregation of the 1950’s. So in 1958 the congregation moved to its much larger sanctuary located at 100 Luther Blvd in a beautiful park-like setting. In 1969, the congregation dedicated its new education building, complete with a gymnasium/recreation room. The sanctuary seats 600 worshipers, and features a Kilgen pipe organ that has recently been restored.
The members of St. Paul's are extremely grateful to our Heavenly Father whose gracious guidance and blessings have made it possible for us to erect this House of Worship which will serve our Christian lives and the lives of generations to come. We know full well that "Except the Lord build the house they labor in vain that build it."
